Hi Everyone,
Mark Dilling came up with a great idea to start a blog so we can all keep up to date on John. Who's coming to visit and maybe add some fun things to make him laugh. Ive never done this before so hopefully this will work.

Hi JJ,
For a couple of old folk we're doing OK if you receive this.Always heard of "blog"...had no clue what it meant, never mind participate in one. Vicki kinda forced me to expand my computer expertise cuz if something was out there you know I'd have to try it. Casey and I are arriving late Saturday. See you Sunday. Love ya!

OK Everyone! You're going to love this. I'm so proud of myself...not only did I successfully leave a message, but I was able to get back into the website without going through Vicki's email and clicking on the address. YESSSSS! Thank you Mark and Vicki!

Any way we can let John know we are thinking of him is a great idea! We will be regular "we love you John" bloggers. Liz has been so good about getting out email updates and hopefully this will help out with that. And Mark added some comic relief this week...we really enjoyed the armadillo story. Thanks to Vicki for setting this up. We'll be back to blog more soon. :) Sending lots of love to John...

Yeah! What a great idea! I love you John and I miss you so much! Everyone at work is anxious to hear how you are! I was excited to hear that an armadillo was captured in the quest to save the lawn!!! See you soon! Shelly

Hi Uncle John,
I hope you are feeling better. I stayed home from school sick today but I am feeling better now. I have a loose tooth that just got looser when I was eating corn on the cob. When I lose it, I will send you a picture of my smile. I love you.

Hi John and Liz!
Hopefully you will get this message...if you do, it will be a miracle because like "Aunt Judy" I've heard the word blog but had no idea what it was! It is a great idea Mark! And thank-you Vicki for setting it up! Using my "advanced" computer skills, I am trying to sign on...okay, I'm a "computer idiot," a novice, i can get to the internet and e-bay, maybe send an e-mail....that's about it! Wish me luck!

Hey, I did it! I see my message! I now can add "blogger" to my computer skills! (I just hope I can do it again!)
Casey is playing street hockey and baseball. He scored 6 of 7 goals in street hockey the other day! He is doing very well in baseball too. He is playing first base. We'll keep you posted!
Love, Denise

Hi Liz and JJ (John) - Guess I'm showing my age by using "JJ". It kinda dates me back to your childhood. I know I've read everyone else's blogs and they probably do too. It seems like an extended family of all who care about you both. Well, I'll introduce myself to all those who don't know me. I'm JJ's (John's) father's sister...actually his only sibling. Guess he's lucky Casey and I love him and Barbe and all of you so much. It's nice to see you have so many people caring and rooting for you. Loved the motorcycle picture. Casey and I will be landing Sat. eve abut 7:30 PM and heading to the Sappet, Srs. for the night. On the way we'll watch for the armadillo with white stripes and if we see him we'll pick him up and bring him home to you. We'll be there bright and early Sunday AM with donuts or bagels and coffee for you. By the way, this blogging stuff is pretty good. I'll keep checking during the day to see what's new. I saw Lisa Rogers this morning and told her I blogged and she said if I could do it then she KNOWS she can too, so you should be hearing from her soon. I'm guessing Denise must be a relative of Liz??? Please introduce yourself. Your admitted computer (il)literacy told me we must be of the same generation. Hope I'm right! If not, please accept my apologies. Take care and see you soon.

Just wanted to say I'm psyched so many of you have used this already!

Thanks so much Vicki, do you know how to post pics though? I read the help but I don't get the icon they're talking about....

Will update this later today or early tomorrow about JJ's whereabouts.

Kellie (my beautiful wife) and I will be traveling down to Ormand Beach Saturday May 19th and will leave the afternoon of the 22nd. So we call Guest Room!

I think this will be a great gift to JJ and Liz to show support and love. It will be a wonderful way for us to communicate with each other what's going on with his treatment so we're all not blowing up thier phones or wondering if we should call. I do ask however that we all be mindful of their privacy and JJ's dignity and remember that the kids are online as well.

Lots of love,
Mark

Hi Uncle John and Auntie Lizzie,
Mike got us set up and we're ready to blog! Mike, Adam and Patrick are going to their cousin Ryan's lacrosse game this morning. Ryan is graduating from high school in two weeks - hard to believe. Mike is going to post some pictures to the blog this weekend. I was really glad to spend a few days with you last week and wish that I could have stayed longer.Nothing as exciting as Mark's armadillo story occurred, but I did see wild turkeys and turkey hawks.Luckily I had Simon to protect me...although, he did not even bark at them.

This was my first "get-away" in three years(for those of you who don't know me well, we have 3 year old twin boys,Adam and Patrick) and the visit was as good for me as it was for them!I actually completed tasks that I started like laundry and washing floors that stayed clean!!!Yes, Mike I can finish what I started when given the opportunity, right John?!!

PS Thanks John for letting me watch Oprah!

Hi JJ and Liz,
Had a wonderful visit with the 2 of you last weekend. It was great to see Vicki, Scott and children...and of course your Dad and Mom have been a part of my life for so long, it's always a pleasure seeing them. Wish we could be living there with you. Maybe in a few years. JJ, I'm glad you're in the hospital getting your legs attended to and I'm glad you're out of pain. You're always on our mind and in our prayers. It's cold and rainy up here in the northeast. High temps in the 40's today. Wish so much we could be there. Will write again soon. Love ya!!
